Zelenskiy says Russia Manipulating US-Brokered Accords

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy announced on Tuesday that a truce with Russia, covering the Black Sea and energy strikes, was effective immediately.

However, he cautioned that Moscow was already manipulating and distorting the agreements. Zelenskiy stated he would ask U.S. President Donald Trump to supply weapons and impose sanctions on Russia if Moscow violated the terms.

Earlier, the U.S. confirmed it had brokered separate agreements with both Kyiv and Moscow to ensure safe navigation in the Black Sea and enforce a ban on attacks targeting energy facilities in the two countries.
