Election are between December and June

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus reaffirmed that the national election in Bangladesh will be held between December of this year and June of next year. 

In his address to the nation, delivered at 7 pm on the eve of Independence Day (March 25) and ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, Yunus emphasized that the upcoming election aims to be the “most free, fair, and credible” in the country’s history. 

He also noted that the Election Commission has already begun preparations for the elections and expressed hope that political parties would engage in the process with enthusiasm and excitement.
